Who are we?
PFMC is located in Southeastern Oklahoma in the community of Clayton.
PFMC was born out of a community endeavor to ensure that quality healthcare would be available and accessible to all the residents of Clayton and the surrounding areas. This became critical when the local clinic announced it would be closing its doors due to financial constraints.
PFMC officially began seeing patients January 2, 2006 with a staff of 5. Our staff has now grown to 12 and as our patient needs grow, so will our staff.
PFMC is carrying on the tradition of "home town medicine". Entire families receive their care at PFMC, from babies to adults.

What is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)?
An FQHC is a community clinic that meets stringent federal requirements, including a patient-majority governing board, services to underserved and uninsured populations regardless of ability to pay and a sliding fee schedule based on family income.
